Through the activity, he noticed the woman walk out of the room. He tried to get her attention before she left, but his brain kept his arms from moving and his mouth from making words. Instead he lay on the bed watching quietly as the men and women moved around him. Some were poking him with equipment and some were moving his body around. He could see people talking to him, but his ears still refused to work. He was sending a message with his eyes, but not matter what he was trying to communicate, no one seemed to understand. It was frustrating, the man wanted to scream. But instead he just looked around. Suddenly it dawned on him, the man had no idea where he was or how he got here.
